StarTimes Uganda Premier League | Saturday 18 April 2026 | MTN Omondi Stadium, Kampala | Kick-off 8:00 PM

Diehards, we return to the fortress this evening as we welcome Maroons FC to MTN Omondi Stadium for what promises to be another compelling encounter in our 2025/26 campaign.

Fresh from a strong run of form, we go into this fixture determined to extend our excellent record against our visitors and maintain our push towards a strong finish to the season.

Dominance in the Head-to-Head

The history between these two sides tells a clear story. We have been unbeaten in our last five meetings with Maroons (four wins, one draw), scoring nine goals and conceding just four in the process.

At home, the pattern is even more encouraging: we have secured victories in each of Maroons’ last two visits to MTN Omondi Stadium (2-1 wins in October 2024 and March 2024). Coach KB and the squad will be fully focused on making it three home wins in a row against them this afternoon.

Currently sitting in 7th place with 37 points from 22 matches (9 wins, 10 draws, 3 losses), we have established ourselves as one of the most difficult teams to beat in the StarTimes Uganda Premier League.

With just three league defeats all season and an impressive unbeaten run of 12 matches, the squad has shown real resilience and character. Our defensive solidity (16 goals conceded) combined with a positive ability to score; (24)goals and a goal difference of +8 underlines the progress we have made.

We head into today’s match in confident shape, aiming to collect maximum points on home soil.

The Rebuild Under Coach KB

At the heart of our transformation this season has been the work of Head Coach Kaddu Badru Mukasa (Coach KB). Since his appointment in November 2025 on a three-year deal, Coach KB has overseen a complete rebuild of the club — instilling tactical discipline, organisation, and a winning mentality throughout the squad.

His impact is visible in every performance: a team that fights for every ball, defends with intelligence, and plays with belief. The results speak for themselves, greater consistency, and a drive toward a clear identity on the pitch.

As we approach the final stretch of the campaign, Coach KB’s vision continues to drive us forward as we target the strongest possible finish to 2025/26. The entire squad is united behind his methods and determined to repay the faith shown in them.

Team news

Except for Ajo, Okao and Odongo who are still side lined, the rest of the squad is available for selection and ready to play.
