We aim to reduce the gap at the top to three points, as we currently sit six points below BUL, who are second on the table. BUL are level on points with the leaders, Vipers, who edge them on goal difference.

The opportunity at hand;

After an upset from the outing at Kabaka Kyabaggu Stadium in Wakiso against URA, we are back home at the MTN Omondi Stadium – Lugogo for an encounter against BUL FC. This encounter presents us with an opportunity to reduce the gap between us and the table leader to just 3 points if we are able to win this encounter.
This will further stamp us as indeed title contenders after a shock defeat that diminished our chances for this silverware. Having slowed down high-flying Kitara FC in our last outing in Lugogo, we are yet faced with a similar situation where we find ourselves up against BUL, who are tied on points at the league summit.

BUL Form guide:
After a slow start to the second round, BUL has on the bounce won consecutive games for the first time, winning against Express and Wakiso Giants. Out of the nine second-round games played, BUL has only managed 3 wins, with the two coming in the last two encounters after going five games without a win, after one against Bright Stars back in February.
BUL has lost only 2 games: against UPDF, who completed a double against them this season, while the other loss came against SC Villa after they failed to convert from the spot, the Easter Giants have drawn four encounters. It’s also important to note that BUL has scored 8 goals while conceding only 4 goals and keeping 5 clean sheets.

First round encounter;
When BUL hosted us at the FUFA Technical Center in Njeru, we played to a one-all draw after BUL cancelling out Okocha’s goal.
