NEC FC’s rising star, Kamoga Ivan, has been making waves at his secondary club, Booma FC. The young U23 talent, who recently signed for the Masindi-based club to meet FUFA’s mandatory double licensing regulations, has left an indelible mark in just two appearances.
His debut with Booma FC saw him find the back of the net, showcasing his scoring prowess. In his second game against Ndejje University, demonstrated his flair and contributed an assist, underlining his versatility on the field.
Opting to join Booma FC for more playing time and developmental opportunities, Kamoga expressed his satisfaction in a statement to NEC FC media. “It has been a great opportunity for me to get some playing time with Booma FC. I not only play but also perform, and credit goes to the coach for understanding my strengths and deploying me where I feel comfortable,” Kamoga shared.
Speaking highly of Booma FC’s head coach, he emphasized the positive impact on his game and development. The two goals he’s been involved in, scoring against Kaaro Karungi and assisting against Ndejje University, showcase his contribution to Booma FC’s success. His goal contribution has seen the club collect four points from the two games he has featured.
The recent game against Ndejje University presented a unique challenge with adverse weather conditions. After a heavy downpour halted the match on Wednesday, it resumed the following day with Booma FC maintaining their 1-0 lead to secure victory.
Kamoga reunited with NEC FC as we played a practice on Thursday evening at the MTN Omondi Stadium Lugogo. The friendly saw Rwothomio Cromwel shine with two goals, assisted by Dhata and Okocha, while Okocha added another goal in a convincing 3-0 win over Ntanda Select.
As Kamoga Ivan continues to impress on the double license with Booma FC, We celebrate his achievements and look forward to witnessing the continued growth of this promising young talent.
