NEC FC have acquired the services of experienced defender Mustafa Mujuzi, who has signed a three-year employment contract with the club running until the end of the 2028/29 season.
The commanding centre-back is already familiar with the NEC FC setup, having been part of the team that finished runners-up in the recently concluded FUFA Super 8 campaign.
Mujuzi brings a wealth of experience to the NEC FC backline, having previously featured for KCCA FC, Entebbe UPPC FC, Vision FC, Synergy FC, Proline FC and Kyetume FC.
The energetic defender becomes NEC FC’s fourth signing of the transfer window, following the arrivals of Enrique Lubwama, Enock Tumwesigye and Fahad Bayo.
Known for his strength, energy and leadership, Mujuzi is also highly regarded for his ability to command and organise the backline, coupled with exceptional game-reading skills.
His experience and defensive qualities are expected to add further strength and depth to an already solid NEC FC defence as the club prepares for the new campaign.
With Mujuzi now officially on board, the Diehards will be hoping his leadership and experience can play a key role in their ambitions for the 2026/27 season and beyond.
