StarTimes Uganda Premier League, Saturday, November 1, 2025 | Kick-off: 4pm, Rwamwanja Stadium, Kamwenge

We’re back in action today as we head to Rwamwanja Stadium to face Mbarara City FC in the StarTimes Uganda Premier League, looking to secure our first win of the 2025-2026 campaign and build some early momentum. With just two points from our opening three games, we need to up our game and pick up points and remind everyone why NEC FC is a force in this league.

Mbarara City FC have been a familiar foe in recent years, and our record speaks for itself: unbeaten in six meetings, with four straight StarTimes Uganda Premier League wins under our belt. They’ve never tasted victory against us – the best they’ve managed are those two draws from the 2022-2023 Big League campaign. We’re determined to keep that alive and kickstart our season properly.

Mbarara City FC: Seeking a Breakthrough

Mbarara City FC enter this clash searching for their first win of the season, having managed only two draws and suffered two defeats already. Mbarara City have turned to Rwamwanja Stadium in Kamwenge after their usual home ground, Kakyeka, was unavailable and will be hosting us there later today.
