We head to Luzira this evening for what promises to be a tense mid-table clash, as Maroons FC host us at the Luzira Prisons Ground in the fifth meeting between the two sides in StarTimes Uganda Premier League history.
We enter the game as overwhelming favourites, unbeaten in the previous four encounters — all victories — but Maroons will take confidence from their improved home form this season. With the league intensifying, a win could propel us closer to the summit, while Maroons desperately need points to pull clear of the relegation zone.
We have completely dominated this fixture, winning all four previous meetings with an aggregate score of 8-3. In those games, we have kept just one clean sheet.
Unfortunately, we will be without the services of Siraje Ssentamu, who picked up an injury in our recent match against Calvary FC and has since undergone successful surgery.
Apart from Ssentamu, Coach KB has no fresh injury concerns ahead of this evening’s encounter.
