StarTimes UPL, MTN Omondi Stadium, Lugogo, Tuesday, March 3, 2026, kick-off 8:00 PM

We’re back in action at home, looking to extend our impressive unbeaten streak in the league and build on last week’s cup success. With confidence high in the camp, this clash against UPDF presents another opportunity to claim three points and solidify our position in the top half of the table.
Facts and Stats
As we gear up for our seventh encounter with UPDF, history is firmly on our side. We’ve remained unbeaten against the Army side across all competitions, securing three wins and three draws from the previous six meetings.
One of those victories came just last week in the Stanbic Uganda Cup, where we triumphed 2-0 to advance to the Round of 16 after Joseph Dhata’s halftime brace.
In league terms, our record stands at two wins and three draws over five games, with an aggregate score of 5-2 in our favour with strong 4 clean sheets. In the two visits to MTN Omondi Stadium, UPDF has failed to score a single goal.
Notably, all three draws have occurred at Bombo Barracks Stadium – UPDF’s home ground – including 0-0 stalemates in December 2025 and April 2025, and a 2-2 thriller in February 2024. Our first-ever win against them was a convincing 2-0 at home in October 2023, setting the tone for this fixture.

This match comes at a pivotal time. We’re currently seventh in the Premier League with 24 points, riding a wave of form that has seen us go unbeaten in our last seven league outings since that narrow 2-1 defeat to KCCA in December. Adding in the cup games, that’s nine matches without a loss – a run we’re determined to protect.
UPDF, meanwhile, sit 15th with just 12 points, hovering dangerously close to the relegation zone. They’ve failed to win any of their last five league games, picking up only two away victories all season.
