This afternoon at MTN Omondi Stadium, Lugogo, we are set to face defending champions Vipers SC in a mouth-watering Stanbic Uganda Cup 2026 quarter-final clash.
Head Coach KB has largely kept faith with the side that secured progress to the quarter-finals with a 2-0 victory over Lugazi FC in the Round of 16 — but has made one key adjustment in the midfield: Joseph Seremba returns to the Starting XI in place of Emmanuel Kulanga, who drops to the substitutes’ bench.
Seremba last started in the Uganda Cup Round of 32 tie against UPDF in Bombo, where he was substituted off after sustaining an injury.
He comes to join the already strong and complementary midfield partnership of Kimwero and Tonny to further strengthen the midfield trio for this quarter-final.
Hannington continues in goal, maintaining the excellent form, while Warren Buule partners Gideon Odongo at the heart of the defence.
Hakim Wandera starts at left-back with Musa occupying the right-back position. Ssekamatte leads the line in attack, supported by Basangwa and Kagawa on the flanks.
