Tonight offers a golden opportunity to ignite our early momentum at our home, MTN Omondi Stadium – Lugogo where we didn’t lose any of the 15 UPL games last season.

Team News

We are navigating a tricky injury landscape: 

Siraje Ssentamu will be back in full training next week and could feature in the next match. 

Timothy Muwanguzi faces a lengthy spell on the sidelines, awaiting surgery and rehab. 

Cromwell Rwothomio is progressing well, but awaiting further examination to determine his return date. 

Buule is expected to rejoin the squad after next week. 

Titus remains out for at least two more weeks.

The rest of the squad remains available for selection by the head Coach.

The Opposition

Police FC arrive in strong form, boasting four points from a victory over Express and a draw against Mbarara City. Under coach Matia Lule, the 2005 champions are hunting a second straight win, and their attacking threat will demand our full focus at the back.

Head-to-Head

We hold a slight edge, unbeaten in our last three meetings with Police including the only victory; a Stanbic Uganda Cup in the quarter finals and two hard-fought league draws last season that saw Odongo Gideon’s bullet header ruled out under unclear circumstance in the first leg of the 2024/25 season at MTN Omondi, while a late equalize in Kavumba denied us a first league win against the cops.
