We are meeting for the fourth and final time in this campaign, marking the most crucial game in our history of the Stanbic Uganda Cup as we eagerly strive to reach the finals for the first time.
Having secured an important away goal in the reverse fixture, we are determined to capitalize on that advantage and strive to eliminate BUL, propelling us to the final for the 50th edition of the Stanbic Uganda Cup.
What NEC needs to progress:
Following a 1-1 draw in the first leg away from home, two scenarios favor our progression to the Finals: a goalless draw or any type of victory.
What BUL needs to progress:
Goals! BUL requires either a win or at least 2 goals in a draw. With the aggregate score tied at 1-1, BUL must either secure a victory or force a draw with a score line of 2-2 or higher. Consequently, the Eastern Giants are expected to come out guns blazing in search of the crucial goal(s).
Note:
A 1-1 draw would send the tie into penalties to determine the winner.
